The Academy Auckland

The Academy in Auckland offers two National Certificates in Floristry:

  • National Certificate in Floristry (Level 3)
  • National Certificate in Floristry (Level 4)

The Level 3 certificate is a full time course, lasting 32 weeks and is offered in February and July. It is designed as an introduction to a career in floristry. The Level 4 course is 400 hours in duration and is offered either full time or part time. It is designed for more experienced florists looking to build on their skills.

The Manukau Institute of Technology

The Manukau Institute of Technology offers two National Certificates in Floristry:

  • National Certificate in Floristry (Level 2)
  • National Certificate in Floristry (Level 4)

The Level 2 certificate is an introductory qualification for people interested in entering the floristry industry. The course runs for one semester, full time and starts February and July. The Level 4 certificate is offered for students who have completed the Level 2 certificate and want to further their floristry skills. The course starts February and July and lasts one year.
